Affiliate Disclosure
Last updated: October 2026
What this means for you
Many of the product links on TechOfEra — including every "Check Price on Amazon" button — are affiliate links. If you click one and buy something on Amazon, Amazon pays us a small commission. This costs you nothing extra: the price you pay is exactly the same as if you'd gone to Amazon directly.
How it affects our recommendations (it doesn't)
Amazon pays the same commission rate for every product within a category, so we have no financial incentive to recommend one product over another. Our picks are based on specifications, features, and aggregated owner feedback — never on which link pays more. We also publish genuine cons for every recommendation, because no product is perfect.
What we don't do
- We don't invent prices — we always direct you to check the current price on Amazon.
- We don't claim hands-on testing we haven't done.
- We don't collect or sell your personal data (see our Privacy Policy).
FTC compliance
In line with the U.S. Federal Trade Commission's endorsement guidelines, we disclose our affiliate relationship clearly on every page containing affiliate links, and here in full. If you have questions about this disclosure, contact us.
